Napolis in Sand Springs, OK

A small little Italian diner type restaurant located in the heart of Sand Springs, Oklahoma, Napolis offers one of the bigger Italian menus I’ve seen. While it doesn’t look like much on the outside, the inside offers a cozy feel. They have booths and tables both and a small bar. In the background, music you’d expect to hear plays loud enough to hear but not so loud you can’t hear each other talk.

Soft rolls are served before your meal with a slight hint of seasoning. We had the stuffed mushrooms as an appetizer which came in a cream sauce with just enough tomato based sauce mixed in to make it delicious.

I had the lobster ravioli which came in the same sauce as the mushrooms and we also had an order of shrimp and scallop fettuccine Alfredo. The Alfredo sauce could have been thicker, but when some of the other sauce (from the mushrooms) was mixed in it helped.

Lastly we finished with desserts. We tried the lemoncello cream cake and the tiramisu. The lemon was divine!! The tiramisu was good but could have had a little more flavor to it.

The atmosphere and service were good. The waitstaff seemed to get along well with each other and seemed like they had fun doing their work. Our waiter was a bit over friendly, but that’s better than ignoring us.

Overall, it was a great time and a good experience. I would recommend it to anyone who is in the area looking for a decent Italian meal.
